Dr Anthony Lam
BDS (Hons), MSc (Lond), MOrth RCS (Edin)
Anthony Lam is an internationally recognised Specialist Orthodontist. He is a clinical teacher in Orthodontics at Guy's Hospital, London, and a member of a number of local and international Orthodontic Societies. He qualified as a dentist at the University of Melbourne and then gained an MSc in Orthodontics at the University of London.
He was awarded the Professor Philip Walther Prize for outstanding performance as part of his MSc and obtained membership of The Royal College of Surgeons upon qualification. Since then, he has worked in private orthodontic practice in the South East region.
His main areas of interest are invisible cosmetic orthodontic braces including the Incognito Lingual appliances, Invisalign, Ceramic and Damon System appliances.

Dr Neil Counihan
BDS (Lond) CERTorth (New York)
Neil Counihan is one of the UK's leading orthodontists. He qualified
in dentistry at Kings College Hospital London then studied orthodontics
at New York University.
In 1995 on returning from the United States
he was invited to join one of London's most modern straight-wire
practices. Subsequently in 2000 he opened a prestigious private
practice in Battersea.
Dr Counihan is a Registered Specialist in Orthodontics at
the General Dental Council of the UK and is an active member
of the British and European Orthodontic Societies. He is also
one of a handful of American trained orthodontists working
in this country.
Carolina Rinaldi

Carolina graduated in Dentistry in 2002 at UFMG, one of the most renowned dental schools in Brazil. This provided her with extensive knowledge of all areas of dentistry. Her main areas of interest are Preventative Dentistry and Orthodontics. She has a strong passion for orthodontics and works closely with our specialists.
Carolina hopes to further her education in orthodontics by doing a Masters Degree soon.

Dr Shivani Patel
BDS (Hons), MFDS RCSP (Glas), MSc (Lond), IMOrth RCPS(Glas), FDS(Orth) RCS(Eng)
Shivani Patel is a Consultant Orthodontist and qualified as a dentist at the United Medical and Dental Schools in London (Guys Hospital) and then studied orthodontics at the Royal London Hospital.
Since qualifying, she has worked in a variety of dental facilities including maxillofacial and oral surgery. As part of her Masters qualification, she was awarded the European Orthodontic Society’s prestigious William Houston Award for research in Sleep Apnoea.
She was awarded a Fellowship in Orthodontics by the Royal College of Surgeons after her further clinical and academic training at Guys Hospital and the Queen Victoria Hospital, West Sussex. This is where she gained experience in treating patients requiring multidisciplinary care such as Orthognathic Surgery and children with Cleft Lip and Palate, as well as teaching postgraduate students.
Her special interests include multidisciplinary clinics (hypodontia) and snoring/sleep apnoea.

Ashleigh Jane Comer
Dip Ortho Therapy RSC (Edin)
Originally from London, Ashleigh started her career in orthodontics in Berkshire, where she worked for a specialist orthodontist as an orthodontic dental nurse.
Since being in the orthodontic field she has accumulated a number of qualifications including dental radiography and orthodontic nursing.
She then went onto studying Orthodontic Therapy at Manchester Dental Hospital where she obtained her Diploma in Orthodontic Therapy. Ashleigh is GDC registered and carries out orthodontic treatment under the supervision and prescription from our orthodontists here at Elleven Orthodontics.
